My obsession with droplets

Meet my obsession.
One of many. I can't get enough of photographing droplets. I'm always amazed by what they will show me - their own reflexion of my reality. It's better then finding pearls, it's finding a whole new world in pearls.

How we didn't make it to the University Falls

Some places in Yosemite NP are still closed due to snow conditions. So, instead of planned trip to Yosemite we opted for a day trip to the Georgetown area in Sierras - namely University Falls.
Usually, my husband doesn't need a map on a trip after studying the route beforehand. Plus, he has some sort of GPS built-in his brain. But this time, even a topographic map on his phone wasn't helpful, we just couldn't find the right way. Mind you, no official trail there. The trip that should be just under 6 miles long turned out to be 8 miles and we didn't find the falls.
Well, maybe some other time.

Walking in San Francisco

You probably don't know that I live in a region where Gold Rush was happening in 1848. There are many historical buildings, remnants of gold mines and stores with panning supplies.
I made a preset that is especially suitable for vintage photos, called - what else - Gold Rush.
